6th of January 2019: Negev Desert, 50 km from the Red Sea After a night under the open sky in the middle of the desert, I continued my journey towards Eilat. The beginning of the route was very pleasant, but the distance for that day was huge, because I was not going to spend another night in the desert. Despite warm days, at night the temperature can drop below 10°, which is not a pleasant prospect without a tent or a thick sleeping bag. The sounds of shots at the border also do not make it easier to fall asleep. On that day, I broke my personal record by walking over 56 kilometers.
